i learned that... 1. people in darfur dont have enough freedom to even go get water with out having to worry about being captured. 2. people are constantly dying 3. they constantly have to worry about people coming into their village and destroying homes and farm land.
- When you are going to get water for your village you are risking your life. - You need to make sure that everyone has enough food and water but in order to get food you need to use the water - Also, you need to make sure that every one is healthy and can get help when they need it but medical supplies only come every few days.
By playing this game i learned... 1) That while you are going out to get water you are risking a lot. 2)Also you need to make sure that no one is dying. 3)And in Darfur it's hard to get the little things that we can get on a daily basis
1) Having to get water while avoiding rebels with guns would be a near impossible task. Thinking it would be harder in real life bc you don't run miles in a couple of seconds.
2) Health is a real issue not like ours but for them actually surviving.
3)These small villiages can easily taken over by rebels that feel the need to for money or supplies.

Three things I have learned through playing tis game are; 1) Getting water is extremly dangerous; but with out having water to drink your life will be at risk anyway. 2) Small villages can be easily taken over by rebels. 3) Rebels have no remorse, they will kill innocent people.

I learned many heartbreaking facts from this game :/ The first was you had to risk your life in order to get water. Instantly made me think, do you know how easy it is for us the get water? It's insane that some people have to put their lives on the line for it.. The second thing I learned was when I used the 10 year old boy and he got caught, boys face abuse, capture and possible death if caught by militias. The third thing I learned was in order to beat the game you need to have speed + strengh. And the rebels are heartless and will kill anyone they see. It's TERRIBLE.

From the game i learned that when you go out to search for water you are in high risk of being caught and taken away from your family. When back in camp medical care is very scarce so many members of the camp began to get sick putting you in risk and you never know when militia will attck you. I agree with amanda, every time you are out getting water you become scared if you may be caught or will make it.

I learned that running a refugee camp would be an extremely difficult task. Attempting to ensure that everyone recieves food and water isn't very easy when these resources are limited. Giving medical support to the wounded or the sick is also very difficult for medical supplies are also limited. Above all, guerilla or militia attack is always an evident threat, making living in fear the norm in these camps.
I learned that we here in America take many freedoms for granted, such as being able to get water without being persecuted. Also, providing support for these people doesn't always aid them, as the opposition forces in Africa and completely in control of the people.

i learned that it is very hard just to find a place to hide when you are getting water, you run out of food very quickly which makes it even harder, and everyone is at risk of being captured age does not matter.
